Our summer housing facilities in Washington DC offer the convenience and comfort necessary for a smooth transition to living in the big city. We're excited to call Georgetown University our home for the summer. Located in one of the most desirable and safest neighborhoods in Washington DC, Georgetown University is located in the heart of Georgetown and only 2 blocks away from the famous M Street corridor, DC's famous shopping and dining hub. Known for its architecture and beauty Georgetown is one of the most desirable and most expensive neighborhoods to live in across all of Washington DC. Around our Housing
Where is the program housing located?
Washington, DC summer programs will be housed on Georgetown University’s campus at Nevil Hall Apartments. Our Washington, DC housing is located in one of the nation’s most desirable neighborhoods in the heart of Georgetown. It’s an attractive location with the most popular shopping hub of the city of M Street located only a couple blocks away. Our students will be housed in apartments that include full bathrooms, kitchens and living areas.

How involved are the program staff?
On-site staff is dedicated to delivering a high-quality experience to enable both your professional and personal growth. Staff members will serve as your program guides, leading you to program events as you become accustomed to the city. They will be available at all times to ensure your summer in the city is as safe as possible.

How will I get to and from my internship?
Each participant will receive a Metro Card to get to and from work each day, as well as transportation throughout the program for the planned weekend events. The staff members will help you learn to utilize the transit until you feel comfortable.
