Guaranteed Internship Placement Process

After applying for the program in the city of your choice, you will be assigned a Placement Agent, who will allow you access to the hundreds of internships available and discuss what companies your would like to pursue.

1. Application: After you complete the University of Dreams application, our admissions committee will review your application and send you a response within 7 days if you have been accepted.



2. Program Initial Deposit Payment: If accepted, students must finalize their acceptance by making their initial deposit payment before they begin working with the Placement Agent.



3. Internship Placement Process: After securing your spot in the program with your initial deposit for housing, you will be coached on revising your resume, interviewing, and shown a list of companies with internships available. After targeting the internships you are interested in, the agent will make the introduction and set up the phone interview.



4. Phone Interviews: You will have the opportunity to interview for any of the internships which match your interests and the employer's needs. This is the ideal time for you to learn more about the summer internship experience with that employer. Please note that all companies have different interviewing timelines. However, as soon as your desired company is ready to interview you, we will make the introduction.
   
   All interviews are done via phone and coordinated for a time that works best for both you and the employer.
   
   Companies ultimately decide whom they want to hire. To ease any nerves regarding the interview, the University of Dreams Placement Agents spend time preparing you for the interview. 5. Choose your Internship: After interviewing, you decide if the position is the right fit. If you accept the position, then you will be set for your summer internship. If you would like to explore other options, we simply continue to work with you and our employer to help you better identify what you want.
