Government and Political Internships
The Dream Careers internship program provides college students with guaranteed internship placement in premier government internships. You control the entire placement process, as you work with a Dream Careers Internship Coordinator as they assist in revising your resume, before scheduling interviews with our large network of Government and Political contacts. Before you begin the placement process, you must first apply and be accepted to a program and city to begin.
Government and Political internships can cover a wide range of interests from Congressional Offices, Political Action Committees, as well as Advocacy and Lobbyist Groups. Whether you are Liberal, Conservative or Bipartisan there are internships within all levels of the political spectrum. Government and Political interns typically work on research compiling data for reports, organize donor lists, attend meetings on Capitol Hill, disseminate information to members via blogs or newsletters and some interns have also worked directly on legislative policy on behalf of their respective organization.
