What did you do?
I did my Summer '09 New York internship in the Human Resources department at Giorgio Armani Corporation.
How would you describe your summer experience? It was an amazing opportunity that I never would have found without Dream Careers. I really felt like I was contributing to the department's initiatives and doing meaningful tasks, rather than just copying or filing.

Where are you now? After graduating from Vanderbilt University in May 2010, I contacted Giorgio Armani through the people I met during the program. They had an open position for a Human Resources / Benefit Coordinator and they wanted me to fly out to New York to interview for it. The rest is history... |

What did you do? I interned in New York City at Buckler, a men's wear fashion brand. I did several duties including:
Compiled a detailed look book and maintained press book , created inspiration and mood boards for the approaching season, inspected garments after receiving production samples to make corrections, participated in design team meetings to discuss fabric choices and colorways, and volunteered backstage at NYC Fashion Week for the spring 2008 show
How would you describe your summer experience? I would describe my summer experience as fun, exciting, and a great learning experience... a dream come true. I also braved asking the designer/owner of the brand, Andrew Buckler, for a chance to have a one-on-one chat about how he began his business; he invited me over to have a drink in the legendary SoHo House!

Where are you now? I am living in NYC and attending Parsons The New School for Design to pursue my fashion degree. |

What did you do? I interned at Ford Models in New York in Fashion.
How would you describe your summer experience? I would describe my experience as excellent. I had a great time, met amazing people, and really enjoyed my internship.

Where are you now? I'm in my last semester of getting my MBA. |

What did you do? I interned at the corporate offices of Estee Lauder, specifically for Jo Mal and La Mer. I worked in Sydney, Australia, and worked with all facets of the company including Sales, Marketing and PR, administration, and Education. I learned a lot about the excel program, and helped organize product send outs.
How would you describe your summer experience? My summer experience was certainly unforgettable. Saying that it was the most amazing summer is an understatement :). I had the perfect internship where I was given so much responsibility, learning so much about the business world, and surrounded by such intelligent people. I loved working for a company and brand that I used and love! They city of Sydney also made the program what it was, for it was gorgeous! I loved that the program helped me travel to the Blue Mountains and wine tasting in Hunter Valley. I did the bridge climb and sky dived! The people in the program were amazing, and we left all best friends! The program brought me such amazing memories and changed how I see the world and myself. I am so glad I did it!

Where are you now? Right now I am studying abroad in Florence, Italy. I am studying Italian, business, and art history. |
