Program Events, Seminars & Networking
The Boston Internship Program events are one of the most popular features of our program. The events are planned to give you full exposure to your new city, while combining travel, with many of the most popular attractions in the city. Although your summer will be filled with gaining valuable work experience, it is very important that you gain the full experience of living in Boston, and our events will do just that. The following are just a few examples of activities from past programs, and the full roster of summer activities will be announced later in the year.
Boston Planned Events
Your first weekend with us, you’ll get a tour of the historic city of Boston, on land and on water via Boston’s infamous Duck Tours. You’ll board a W.W.II style amphibious landing vehicle, the “DUCK” and you will be off on your merry way for a unique and “must do” tour of Boston. Together we’ll be awe-inspired as we cruise by all the places that make Boston the birthplace of freedom, from the golden-domed State House to Bunker Hill, Boston Common and Copley Square to the Big Dig, Government Center to fashionable Newbury Street, Quincy Market to the Prudential Tower, and more! As you smile and take plenty of snapshots share with friends and family on Facebook, be sure to tune into the interesting facts and insights our tour guide will share about our splendid city. You will not want to miss out on learning about the place you’ll call home for summer! We will enjoy a sumptuous meal in one of the Boston’s favorable sites! This is just a taste of all the delightful experiences that Boston has to offer.
Seminars & Networking
The Boston Speaker Series occurs once per week after work where industry professionals share their success stories and outline the essential aspects of preparing for life after college. The Speaker Series is a valuable aspect of the Internship Program, as it allows you to gain insight from industry professionals. Additionally, you will spend time building your professional network, as you will have time to talk with each at the end of their speech.
With the support of our partner Menlo College, those that participate in our Speaker Series will be provided with contract academic credit from Menlo College. For additional details please go to our Academic Credit page.

The purpose of the series is to give you a broader perspective, while inspiring you to think about what career you wish to pursue. Below is a snapshot of a few of the guest speakers we have hosted at previous programs.
