The renovated building opened in the fall of 2009, and offers our students suite-style accommodations with in-suite bathrooms, large common lounge areas, and access to full kitchens. The historic Colonial Theatre, located on the street level of the building, is the oldest continuously operating theatre in New England! The residence makes up floors 4-10 of the 10-story building.
Location: The Colonial Building Residence Hall at Emerson College is located at 100 Boylston Street, directly across the street from the Boston Common! This prime location is both in the heart of downtown Boston, as well as just feet away from tennis courts, baseball fields, and acres of open park to chase footballs and enjoy the wonderful weather!
Security: Entry to the residence hall is restricted to residents and authorized guests only. Guests must present proper photo-identification in the lobby and be escorted by the residents at all time. Emerson security guards are on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In addition, our trained, on-site Staff will be available 24/7 to ensure you have all of the up-to-date information you need to maximize your summer experience!
