Vickie Fite Bio

With over 17 years experience in the industry, Vickie Fite provides strategic counsel for marketing-integrated public relations programs that build and enhance corporate image. Her expertise spans a wide range of industries through her work for Sunkist Growers, General Motors, Del Monte and Nestlé USA, managing national and regional public awareness campaigns and strategic alliances. Her portfolio features numerous award-winning programs with a specialty in developing and executing retailer-driven and cause-marketing programs. The Sunkist “Take a Stand” program was recently recognized by PRWeek as 2007’s Cause Marketing Program of the Year.

In addition, Vickie is a first-generation Mexican American, bilingual and has been featured in Hispanic Enterprise and La Opinión for being the first Latina Managing Director of a full-service agency in the Los Angeles area. She applies her talents and insights on diversity campaigns for General Motors, Procter & Gamble, the Museum of Latin American Art and Baby Abuelita multicultural dolls.

Vickie also has an extensive background in food marketing, pet care and youth-oriented programs through experience with Nestlé Chocolate & Confections, Purina, ConAgra Foods, Best Foods Baking, Paramount Farms, Blockbuster Entertainment and Sega of America. Vickie has custom-designed programs for Wal-Mart and Ralph’s Supermarkets as well worked closely with other major grocers.

During her tenure Vickie has garnered two Prism/LA awards, three Silver Star awards and the Gold Coin in Client Service. She is a Valedictorian graduate of Loyola Marymount University, summa cum laude, with a degree in marketing.
