New York

Exploring New York City was so much fun. I fell in love with "The Top of the Rock" (Rockefeller Center) and went up there four times. The Fourth of July was amazing with all of Macy's fireworks over the river. I've never seen anything like it.

Syracuse University
The highlight of my summer in New York was spending the 4th of July down at South Street Seaport and having a front row view of the most amazing 4th of July Macy's Firework's Show. Even though it was raining and freezing cold, we still had the best time spending time together and enjoying the fireworks show! Below is a picture of all of us in the subway station on the way to South Street Seaport and also a picture of the fireworks!

My summer in New York City was probably the best experience of my life! Every weekend I went to the scheduled activities on the weekends and with the new friends I made, found our own bars/clubs/ and activities within the city. Working in SoHo, I'd walk pass celebrities on the streets such as John Mayer, Gisele, Paula Abdul, and other reputable models.

Sarah Urbanczyk
Grand Valley State University
During my summer in NYC, I saw four Broadway plays and attended tapings of both the Late Show with David Letterman and Live with Regis and Kelly. I also made great friends that I know I will keep in touch with for years to come.

Chicago

I loved the dinner cruise, it was beautiful! The view was breath-taking, the food was fantastic, and the entertainment and dancing made it really fun! It was also a highlight because I was able to spend some time with my boyfriend and make it a romantic evening.

Donna Brancart
Eastern Michigan University
During my summer in Chicago, I went to the Taste of Chicago with my family. I also got the opportunity to get an all access tour of Lollapalooza with the Grammy University Program. Finally, I enjoyed sitting out on the beach.

Cordell Martin
Indiana University- Bloomington
During my summer in Chicago, I was able to meet and make a variety of contacts. My editor and sole boss was also a freelancer for US Weekly and OK magazine. Therefore, I had the opportunity to meet a variety of celebs. These include Rod Stewart, Ashlee Simpson and DJ Samantha Ronson.

San Francisco

While in San Francisco, there was always something exciting to do, but one of my favorite times was when we left San Fran and headed up to Tahoe where I saw the clearest and coldest water, laid on the gorgeous beach, and gambled and sadly lost for the first time. Did I mention I was with some of the coolest people ever?!

Heather Maul
University of Wisconsin Eau Claire
Driving full on high gear speed in a speedboat, big waves coming towards me and taking pictures of sea lions in the sea in Rodondo Beach was an unforgettable experience! I also made a trip to San Francisco where I went on an amazing brunch cruise to the Golden Bridge and Alcatraz Island.

Los Angeles

My summer in Los Angeles was amazing! I was able to see various tourist sites and experience such a diverse city on my own. I loved going to the beach every weekend as well. My most memorable night was a night out in Hollywood with all the new friends I had made.

Michelle Stepaniak
University of Wisconsin Eau Claire
One of my highlights from the summer, was working the Inspi(red) Event for Project Red. There, I met a ton of celebrities and was responsible for escorting them from the red carpet to the VIP area at Mood Night Club. I was also in charge of gift bag distribution and making sure that the celebs were having a good time!

Kristen Griener
State University of New York - Geneseo
While I was in Los Angeles, I made sure to experience a little bit of everything! I dined at popular restaurants, took a tour of Universal Studios and Warner Brother Studios, did plenty of shopping, ran into my favorite actor, Kiefer Sutherland and even took the train down to San Diego for a weekend.

Barcelona

During my summer in Barcelona, I was able to explore architectural wonders of the famous architect Antoni Gadui. This included a group trip to the famous Parc Guell located in the north that provided magnificent views of the city.

Beth Kentner
Wake Forest University
During my summer in Spain one of the countless memorable moments that I had was spent river trekking in the Pyrenees for a day with my fellow participants. I hiked up and down rock formations and jump from cliffs into crystal blue water. It was the time of my life and I already have promised myself that I will do it again someday!

London

One of my favorite experiences in London was attended a party for Arena Magazine with my co-workers. I ran into Lily Cole, fashion model, and a couple of hot British bands! It was simply a blast.

Courtney Reese
University of South Carolina

During my summer in London, I saw the Roman city Bath, Stonehenge, Brighton Beach, the city of Oxford, Queen Elizabeth's Windsor Castle, and visited Paris, France for an overnight stay. Every single day overseas was both a new journey and a fantastic experience. It was only after I had completed the internship that I realized why employers position such heavy influence on abroad experience. It is truly an intangible opportunity that you must live to believe.

Hanging out at the ULU Pub with my fellow dreamers, cheering on the England team (esp David Beckham) during the World Cup!

Jenny Raja
Washington University in St. Louis
One of the most amazing experiences of my summer was attending the Live Earth concert at Wembley Stadium. Not only was the music great, but the concert was at Wembley Stadium! It was brilliant just to see the stadium where the England football team plays and I got to feel a little bit apart of something that is so special to those people who live in the country I was working in.

Heather Miller
Gonzaga University
I had been hearing my friends talking about the musical Wicked for several years, so finally getting to see a performance of the show in London was incredible. Even better was getting to see it with the entire group of Dreamers on one of our last weekend in London!

Andrea Diamond
University of Virginia
My friends and I got into the habit of having picnics in the various parks in London. After work, on sunny days, we would stop by the local food store and pick up some food and drinks and just unwind. They were some of my favorite times in London, just relaxing and sharing stories with my new friends.
