Beth Lochtefeld and I founded University of Dreams in early 2000. She believed that dreams were important and that all Dreamers should have the resources they need to pursue their Big Dream. What is a BIG DREAM? It is something a person is born to do.

I believe that I was born to positively change culture on a mass level by inspiring, equipping and challenging people to pursue their dreams. Beth helped make my journey to my Big Dream possible by providing the resources I needed to start the University of Dreams, a company built to accomplish my dream (www.UofDreams.com). She provided funding, mentorship, contacts, educational content, inspiration, consulting services, a listening ear, and most of all, unconditional love and support when I needed it most.

Beth's life was tragically taken from her at the young age of 44. At the time of her death, I am quite certain Beth believed that her BIG DREAM was still ahead of her. I believe that she had already accomplished her BIG DREAM. I believe that Beth's BIG DREAM was to live a life exactly as she did. Her life was a masterpiece that only she was uniquely gifted to lead. She was born to live it and what an amazing life it was.

Not a day goes by that I don't think about Beth and the impact she had, and continues to have, on my life. Beth was not only my cousin and business partner for a  decade, she was best friend. Just weeks prior to her death, Beth agreed to become the Executive Director of the University of Dreams Foundation, a non-for-profit start-up. After a well earned mini-retirement, it was going to be her big foray back into the business world and her way to help equip more Dreamers to pursue their dreams. In helping me and so many other Dreamers during her life, I believe that she had caught the Dream Supporter bug. She wanted to help as many people as possible achieve their dreams.

The University of Dreams Foundation and the Dreamer Vault were inspired by Beth's generosity to Dreamers. She will forever be its Founder and occupy the title of Executive Director. I love you Beth and promise to never give up my BIG DREAM, and to honor yours!
